Albina Giuseppina Barberis

Associate Professor – Systematic Botany, DISTAV -University of Genoa

 

Degree in Natural Sciences in 1972.
From 1982 to 2000 she was a researcher at the Institute of Botany of the University of Genoa, merged into the Department for the study of the territory and its resources. From 2000 to 2020 Associate Professor of Systematic Botany at the Department of Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences of the University of Genoa.
He carries out research in the fields of systematic botany and environmental and applied botany since 1974. In particular, systematic and taxonomic studies on various species of Cerastium and Campanula and on Narcissus pseudonarcissus, floristic and chorological research on Liguria and the lower Piedmont, research on the vegetation of Liguria.
She has been a member of the Euroflora jury in the editions of the last twenty years.
