Anna Barbaglia
Retired teacher of ancient literatures
She is a teacher, demonstrator and international judge of IIDFA Sanremo (Italian Institute of Flower Arranging for Amateurs). She judged many flower shows in Italy and abroad and in February 2020 she was the Italian judge at the World Wafa Show in Jaipur-India.
She held workshops and floral demonstrations in Italy, UK, Pakistan, South Africa, France, Switzerland, Malta and for UniSavona.
She won prizes in several Italian and foreign shows and made the honorary exibit for Italy at the WAFA Seminar in Pakistan. She took part to the WAFA Seminars also in UK, Japan, Ireland, Barbados, India.
She loves gardening and since 1970 has created the Garden of Hellebores that hosts the oldest and largest collection of hellebores in Italy. The garden is open to the public since 1993.
Active in defense of birdlife, in the ’80s she was in the National Board of LIPU. Now she practises birdgardening
