He studied floriculture and gardening at the School of Minoprio (CO), Saint Albans (Great Britain) and philosophy at the University of Barcelona.
He “lived” all editions of Euroflora, as a student of the Minoprio School in 1966, then as a Commercial Agent, Publisher, President of the Young European Horticulturists (CEJH), President of HME HortiMedia Europe, the European Association of professional horticultural press, spokesperson for Italy in the Plants and Flowers Committee of the EU, and finally as member of the Organizing Committee of Euroflora and President of the Juries.
He was the founder and director of the professional magazine Flortecnica for thirty years, also playing the role of ambassador of Italian floriculture in the world.
