Passionate about camellias and rhododendrons, he has made botanical trips to Japan, China, Vietnam, Laos, Europe and the USA. Co-author of a text on the Sasanqua camellias. Member of RHS, American Rhododendron Society, of the Spanish Camellia Society, of the Swiss Camellia Society and the Italian Camellia Society.
