It was truly a special occasion to present Euroflora 2025 at the New York Botanical Garden, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the United States, located in the Bronx. A National Historic Landmark since 1967, the NYBG spans over 1 square kilometer and contains more than 48 gardens and plant collections. Following a tour of the park, the President of Porto Antico di Genova, Mauro Ferrando, and the Deputy Mayor of Genoa, Pietro Piciocchi, extended an official invitation to the park’s Vice Presidents, Joanna L. Groarke and Todd Forrest. Work is now underway in Genoa on a concrete “transatlantic” proposal for a truly exceptional debut on American soil.
