E. Roccotiello, head of the Environmental Botany Lab at DISTAV, UniGe, specializes in urban ecosystem plants, Nature-Based Solutions, phytoremediation, bioremediation, and environmental sustainability.

As a member of the Green Advisory Board, she participates in the technical committee on urban tree management for the Municipality of Genoa.
