Laura Cornara
Associate Professor of Botany at DISTAV (Department of Earth, Environment, and Life Sciences) University of Genova
Scientific Committee member, Hanbury Botanical Garden, from 2016 to 2019. Academic Member of PhD Course STAT-Biology Applied to Agriculture and Environment, of the Ital. Soc. of Phytotherapy and Ital. Soc. of Botany, of the Scientific Committee of Erboristeria Domani, of the Editorial Board of eFood (Atlantis Press), and Guest Editor of Plants (MDPI). Her research activity includes plant pharmacognostic characterizations and ethnobotanical studies. She collaborates with the Center for Studies and Research on Palms and with the CREA-FSO of Sanremo (European LIFEorchids project), has many scientific collaborations, both in Italy and in other countries, and is author of more than 85 papers on peer-review journals (Scopus HI: 18) and of book sections and monographs. She has participated to various Festival della Scienza editions and Euroflora exhibitions (jury member in the 2018 edition).
